| KEPHART'S LEASE PLAN PAYS FOR THE INSTRUMENT
|
 Pay a monthly lease fee. Your lease payment (minus 1.5% applicable lease fee and sales tax) applies toward the purchase of the instrument. Lease credit applies toward the purchase of the instrument.
Lease for a specified number of months to own the instrument. Or pay it off at any time during the lease and take a 30% discount off the balance. Pay the discounted sale price minus your lease credit.
Or... return the instrument to cancel the lease at any time.
Choose the type of payment that is most convenient for you: coupon book, credit card, or automatic withdrawal from your bank account.

| OTHER FEATURES OF KEPHART'S SCHOOL LEASE PLAN

You may lease new, used (when available), or program (rental return) instruments - your choice.
All instruments are fully guaranteed and include cases and all necessary accessories such as mouthpieces, extra reeds and reed holders, swabs, oils, etc.
For your protection all used and program instruments are chemically sanitized with mouthpieces sealed in an airtight bag.
The instrument you lease is yours to keep if you wish…. or…. You may switch instruments. Or trade up to a better one at any time during the lease and receive lease credit toward the purchase of your new instrument.
If you already own an instrument you may trade it in if you wish toward a lease or purchase of another instrument.
You may choose to add a maintenance and replacement coverage plan for a small additional monthly fee. This will pay for any repairs your instrument may need, including repairs for normal wear and use. It also covers full replacement.

| WHY LEASE A SMALL INSTRUMENT?
|
When your child begins music lessons in the early grades, it is important that he or she have the right size instrument to start on. Most children this age are just too small physically to handle a full size violin, viola, cello, or string bass.
These instruments are made in many different sizes to fill this need.
As your child grows, the small size instrument will be outgrown, just as clothes are outgrown. You will find it expensive if you buy another instrument each time the student needs a larger size. And not many parents will want to spend the money to buy an instrument the child will soon outgrow.

| HOW THE STRING LEASE PROGRAM WORKS
|
|
You may lease any small-size string instrument for a low monthly lease fee.
You accumulate purchase credits as you make the monthly lease payments. These credits will apply to the purchase of a full size instrument from Kephart's when your child is ready for this.
You may lease larger instruments as your child grows, and purchase credits will accumulate. You may then apply the total toward buying the full size instrument.
There is no finance charge on the lease payments.
Leased instruments are fully insured by Kephart's at no extra charge.
If the child quits, you may return the instrument. This effectively cancels the agreement, and you stop making payments. You are not obligated any further, provided your payments are current at return. You may lease new, used (when available), or program (rental return) instruments - your choice.
Each instrument is equipped with strings, case, bow, fine tuners and rosin. Bow rehairing and purchase of supplies such as extra strings and music books are the customer's responsibility and are not included in the lease.

No money is refunded if the child drops out of the music program. Most children who quit do so within the first few months, before many payments have been made. Chances are, it will cost you a minimal amount to try the string program. If the student continues with music, it may be one of the best investments you can make for your child's future.
